2010 Community House
The Community House is actually part of one of the two houses in the 2010 Taku Build, the 2010 100 Women House / Community House. Because this home will cost approximately $155,000 to build, Habitat has chosen to solicit sponsorship funding for the entire cost of the house as follows:
$100,000 - 100 Women House (this includes $30,000 of Challenge Funding from Wells Fargo)
$ 55,000 - Community House (this includes a lead gift of $15,000 from Wells Fargo)
The 2010 Community House will be a newly designed two-story, three-bedroom, detached single-family home. This home will be located at 5450 Taku Drive on the corner of the Glenn Highway and Boniface Parkway - just east of the two Habitat homes built in 2009. Volunteers will be helping build this home with the Wayne Kriger Family. Click here to see the Kriger Family Bio.
